I am going through training at my new job, and when I stumble across a funny, I have to share. I was reading through a hearing protection book and saw a couple of examples that sort of caught me off guard a bit.
Upon closer look, you can see the odd ball entry here. After seeing this and thinking about it, I think it is true.
Scanning a bit further into the book, I found this list. It is a good, and probably accurate list, but has a funny side to it too. The last box on the right page says: 140 – Gun Muzzle Blast, Jet Engine at Full Power, and here it is –

I love books with funny authors, especially when it comes to training information like this.
Man, it always catches you off guard to find things like that, doesn’t it? Reminds me of my ACT for Dummies book. That book was hilarious. Just when I’d get frustrated it’d throw an awful lame joke my way and it really lightened up the load.
But “You bought WHAT?!” definitely takes the cake!
